Kathy L. Bainbridge, 66 of Thayer, IL, formerly of Alma, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, at Sunrise Skilled Nursing.
She was born on July 26th, 1959, to Kenneth (Leon) and Judy (Lakes) Diss, both of whom preceded her in death. Her family and friends were the most important thing to her, especially her grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her three children Will Bainbridge of Salem IL, Jennifer (Brandon) Branch of Thayer IL, Emily (Paul) Goeckner of Thayer IL; her four grandchildren, Kylee, Keira, Quin, and Chay; brothers Kevin (Cherrie) Diss, and Jeff (partner Denise Meyer) Diss.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 5th, at the Elks Lodge in Salem, IL, from 1 to 4 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
