Two people were injured in a two-car crash at McCord and Cherry Streets in Centralia early Friday morning.
Centralia Police say the crash occurred when 27-year-old Dakota Hensley of Clay Street in Ashley pulled from the stop sign on Cherry and struck a westbound car on McCord Street driven by 42-year-old Jesse Pigg of Lakewood Drive in Centralia.
Both the driver, Jesse Pigg, and a passenger, 31-year-old Destiny Pigg of Ashley, were taken via ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries.
Hensley declined hospital treatment. He was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The crash occurred at 4:30 on Friday morning.
