In prep baseball, South Central hosts Beecher City. SC is coming off a tough 4-0 loss at home to St Anthony in NTC play. Aidan Hoover and Garrett Shumate had all 4 of the Cougars hits. Shumate doubled. Shumate was the losing pitcher going 4 innings allowing 3 earned runs on just 3 hits with 8 strikeouts. Hoover worked the final 3 innings.
Cody Zimdars drove in six runs on three hits to lead North Clay past Neoga 14-1. Carder Walden added a home run.
