The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced Illinois Route 161 Extension will be closed Monday and Tuesday between Heinzmann Road and State Route 37.
The full closure will allow the Union Pacific Railroad to rehabilitate the crossing.
A posted detour will be in place to guide motorists around the closure, or you may plan an alternate route of your own.
