St. Mary Parish, Centralia is gearing up for its annual Autumnfest on Saturday, September 6, 2025, and parish leaders say the community can expect a full day of food, music, and family fun. The celebration will begin with a 4:00 p.m. Mass at St. Mary Church, followed by an evening festival on the parish grounds.

The event kicks off with the Celebration of Holy Mass, featuring music by the Cathedral of St. Peter musicians. At 5:00 p.m., the festival grounds open, offering activities, food, and entertainment for all ages. At 5:15 p.m., the St. Mary’s School Choir will perform, and as the evening continues, the smell of fried chicken and sweet corn will fill the air.

One of the highlights is the Homestyle Chicken Dinner, served from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with dine-in and carryout available. The menu includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, sweet corn, coleslaw, rolls, drinks, and dessert. Outdoor food stands will also be available, serving pulled pork, hamburgers, hotdogs, nachos, and cold drinks.

For children, the Kids Zone will offer carnival games, inflatables, and a prize booth, all included with a $20 wristband. Adults can purchase a $20 wristband for the Beer Garden, which will feature local brews and a relaxed atmosphere. Other activities include a Cake Walk, Basket Stand, and Beer Poker.

Live music will headline the evening, with Caleb Shipley performing from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the outdoor concert.

Autumnfest will also feature a raffle with cash prizes of $1,000, $500, and $250. Tickets are $20 each or seven for $100, with the drawing held at 10:00 p.m.

“We invite the community to join us at St. Mary’s for an evening of music, fun, and great food,” said Father Steven Pautler, pastor of St. Mary Parish. “Autumnfest is more than just a parish event—it’s an opportunity for neighbors and families to come together in the spirit of fellowship.”

Autumnfest is open to the public, and organizers say everyone is welcome to share in the celebration. For more information, contact the St. Mary Parish Office at 618-532-6291.
