The Salem Wildcat cross Country hosted their home meet Tuesday and also honored their 5 seniors. Maci Thorsen, Eden Russell and Audrey Lybarger on the girls team. Hunter Malan and Robby Shober on the boys team.
Centralia won both the girls and the boys races. Robby Shober was the overall winner in a time of 16:47 with Hunter Malan placing 3rd. Also for the boys Jacob Cape was 10th and Abram Jett 12th.
Kendall Zimmerman was second and Maci Thorsen 3rd. Also for the girls Piper Morton was 10th and Eden Russell 11th.
Woodlawn’s Zelena Koch was 4th overall bettering her time on the Salem course by: 23 seconds.
The Cats race again Saturday at Granite City
Woodlawn is at the Murphysboro Invitational.
