A mobile home in the process of being torn down caught fire at the David Bivens residence at 2820 Delmar Avenue in the Royal Lakes neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.
The fire apparently started from a nearby burn pile.
The mobile home was 90 percent demolished before the department’s arrival. No other structures were involved, and no mutual aid was requested.
The fire call came in at 2 p.m. and firemen cleared the scene by 2:30.
