A 26-year-old Salem woman was arrested by Salem Police for alleged domestic battery after allegedly throwing and hitting a male acquaintance in the head with a nozzle from a garden hose.
Rayna Ramizrez of East Boone was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges. The alleged victim was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The incident occurred at Ramirez’s home around 2:57 Saturday morning.
