The Salem Lady Wildcats are 3-0 in their opening week of volleyball after beating visiting Teutopolis last night. Salem dropped the opening set 15-25, but came back and won the next two 25-18, 25-22 in an excellent prep volleyball game played by both. The JV dropped their first match of the season 26-24, 24-26, 9-15.
The SC Lady Falcons lost to St Anthony 25-12, 25-19 to fall to 1-1 on the young season. Lauren Johnson and Maddie Peddicord had 3 kills each. The JV lost in 3 sets and the Frosh Lady Cougars won in 2 sets.
Patoka/Odin beat Sandoval 25-6, 25-16. The Patoka/Odin JV also were winners 25-20, 25-19.
