Jacklyn Kay Mansker, age 77 of Centralia, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor.
Jacklyn was born on January 4, 1948, in Centralia, the daughter of Orval and Lillian (Scharnhorst) Applegate. She married Gordon E. “Skeeter” Mankser on May 3, 1975, in Salem, and he preceded her in death on March 24, 1994.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Odle and husband Christopher of Mt. Vernon; grandson, Christian Kaleb Odle of Mt. Vernon; and siblings, Raymond Marshall and wife Jane of Salem and Priscilla Jones Drimakis and husband Gus of Tehachapi, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Lillian Applegate; stepmother, Wilma Applegate; and siblings, Clarence Marshall, Eldon Marshall, Stanley Marshall, James Marshall, Robert Marshall, Donna Branch, Richard Marshall, Jackie Applegate, and David Applegate.
Jacklyn worked for many years as a home health aide for the VNA. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral services for Jacklyn Kay Mansker will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Christopher Bean officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery in Alma.
