Three people were taken to the Marion County Jail on no bond failure to appear warrants on Wednesday.
- 37-year-old Mathew Stebbins of Clinmar Place in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County felony warrant.
- 34-year-old Shane Bell, who told authorities he was homeless in Girard, was returned by prisoner transport on a Marion County felony warrant.
- 35-year-old Joshua Benjamin, who said he was a homeless Centralia man, was also arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
Kinmundy Police arrested 68-year-old Carl Black Junior of 4th Street in Kinmundy for driving under the influence. He was released on a notice to appear in court.
The Salem Fire Protection District say a fire in a vehicle owned by Joel Buerster parked at his home in the 700 block of Oak Park was confined to the engine compartment. Firemen got the call quick enough to be able to put it out with a fire extinguisher.
