The Franklin Park Bobcats fell to visiting Vandalia 10-0. The game was just 1-0 after four innings before the Vandals scored a pair of runs in the fifth and then 7 in the sixth to earn the win. Salem made 4 errors in the loss. Ben Lux had 2 hits to lead Salem who also got hits from Eli Purdy and EJ Wolfe. The Vandals were led by Jaxton Carroll. The 8th grader is off to a torrid start to his season as he is hitting .667 with 18 RBI and 12 runs scored in 8 games and hit his 6th homer of the season yesterday in the win. He also has yet to strike out this season.
