A 40-year-old Salem man has been sentenced to three years in prison after his drug court probation was revoked.

Joshua Gribler of South Washington had pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of under five grams of methamphetamine and two counts of unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon in order to enter drug court.  With his drug court participation revoked, Gribler moved immediately to sentencing.

Gribler was given credit for time already served and will have to complete six months of mandatory supervised release when released from prison.

Gribler was charged with the possession of meth in 2023 and the ammunition charges in March of this year.  The ammunition charges required a prison term of two to ten years if convicted.   Gribler was also eligible for extended term on the meth charge due to a prior Marion County felony conviction.
