In softball, Franklin Park is hosting Aviston after losing yesterday at Effingham 15-0.  Brinn Detmer had 2 hits to lead Salem.

Sandoval beat Raccoon 10-5 with 15 strikeouts in the circle from Tyanna Tomes.  Sandoval had 10 hits including a home run by Kenzi Smith who had 2 hits in the game.  Maddi Hill and Alia Merrill also had multi-hit games.  Sandoval is 4-2 on the season and will host South Central today.

The Lady Falcons beat Altamont last night 12-5.  Rylan Williams and Alexa Gile combined for 6 hits and 3 RBI, Skylar Webster went 5-5 with 4 runs scored and an RBI.  Claire Chasteen also drove in a run.  Williams and Webster pitched in the win.

Field fell to the Lady Spartans 21-0 in three innings.  For the Lady Panthers, Hadley Richardson singled along with Chesney Trout and Stomi Stuckey.

The Patoka junior high softball team is at home against Hoyelton Trinity.

Also last night, North Clay lost to Dieterich 13-1, Herrin 20-0 over Benton, Marion beat Harrisburg 5-1, Nashville 8-3 over Pinckneyville, Roxana nipped Collinsville 11-10 and Summersville beat Mt Vernon St Mary’s 18-3.
