Marjorie “Margie” Staff, 76, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, with her daughter by her side.
She was born on October 27, 1948, in Hayti, Missouri, the daughter of Ray Bell and Nancy (Garner) Bell. She married Daniel Lee Staff on November 23, 1976, in St. Louis, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2022.
Margie is survived by her daughter: Cathleen Rowcliff and husband Frank of Centralia; her son: Larry O’Bryan of Madisonville, Kentucky; a very special grandson: Micheal Staff of Centralia, a sister: Charlotte Garner of Louisville, Kentucky, three brothers: David Bell, Charlie Bell, and Gary Bell all of Michigan, and several nieces, nephews.
Per Margie’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and no public service will be held.
