Jeffery Joe Wood, 44, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, with his Mom and siblings at his side at SSM Health St. Louis University. He was born on December 24, 1980.
He is survived by his two sons, C. Ximon Wood and Xareth Eli Wood, both of Mt. Vernon. His mother, Diana Perkins of Beckemeyer; brother, Jacob D. Wood and wife Shawna, of Walnut Hill; two sisters, Nichole Clark and husband Wade of Virden and Tabatha Williams and husband Timothy of Springfield; 3 bonus brothers, Ronald Sharp, Christopher Sharp and Nicholas Sharp; bonus sister, Amanda (Troy) Ferguson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts, great aunts. So many loved ones will miss Jeff.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jeffery Joe Wood, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was met by many loved ones.
Sutherland-Garnier in Centralia will handle cremation services and the family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
