1/2 White traveled to Centralia to start off the season. They had a 2-2 tie with goals scored by Wyatt Green and Beau Hollenkamp. The goalies, Warren Green, Mia Wangler, Rylie Lawson, and Riley Mann all had some great stops against hard kicks. They played a great game. Can’t wait to see how the team grows through the season!
1/2 Red dropped their opener at home 4-3 against a talented Aviston team. Kaisen Cantley led the team with a hat trick, with solid offense from Colt Conner, Bane Delaney, and Cora Fogliasso. Sawyer Howe and Olivia Branch split responsibility as the team keepers, saving multiple goals and making great plays. Amelia Erlinger, KJ Dobyns, and Max Dulaney worked as a team to keep the ball moving up the field, with Abigail Guzman and Kadrick Rollins working hard on defense.
Game one at this level is always a difficult one, as we always have multiple new-to-the-sport players! We are excited to see this talented group continue to work together, learn, and improve while keeping their love for the game!
