The annual cardboard boat races were held at Balloon Fest on Sunday as part of Family Fun Day. A total of nineteen contestants competed across three races.
This year’s first place winner was Hattie King. Second place was Hunter Wilken. Third place went to Clay Johnson, and fourth place was Allie Wedekemper.
The “Most Spectacular Sinking” award went to Carlee in boat number 11.
The winners’ trophies were presented by last year’s winner, Julia Cushman.
