The Selmaville Rockets advanced to the OBC softball finals with a 16-1 win over Raccoon. The score was tied at 1 in the bottom of the 3rd when the Rockets scored 15 runs to end the game. Alana Howe was 3-4 with 3 RBI, Gabby Goostree had a double and drove home a run, Gia Ward doubled with 3 RBI, Khaeler Williams drove in 3, Karmen Murray added an RBI, Kailey Meredit drove in 2. Gabby Gabby Goostree earned the win moving to 5-0 on the season. She struck out 8 as Selmaville is 6-1 on the season.
They will play in Monday’s finals at the Little League Complex against top seed Willow Grove/St Mary who beat Iuka 11-1. The 3rd place game with see Iuka take on Raccoon at Field at 5:30 Monday.
