The OBC Tournament opened yesterday and Iuka won their opener over Field 16-10. Kenzie Collier was the winning pitcher. Shaylee Vest drove in 2 runs. Briella Wodtka and Lilly Brewer each singled. Iuka advances to the semifinals this afternoon at the Salem Complex when they take on top seed Willow Grove/St Mary.
Raccoon won their opener beating Odin 13-10 at Field. Julianna Rushing drove in 3 runs. Nadea earned the win as she allowed 4 hits and 3 earned runs over 6 innings with 11 strikeouts.
The Lady Rockets brought home a win over Central City today in a game played at Field school. Leading the way offensively Alana Howe went 2-2 with an RBI, Gia Ward was 2-2 with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. Khaeler Williams was 1-1 with 2 RBIs and Kailey Meredith was 1-1. Gwen Goostree picked up her first career win in the circle as she struck out 5 and only gave up one hit in her 3 innings of work. The Lady Rockets will now play Raccoon Friday at 5:30 at Field School.
