State Police are looking for a semi that apparently hit the rear of a minivan owned by Lewis Bakery while both were traveling northbound on I-57 near the rest area south of Salem.
Salem Fire Protection District Assistant Chief Bill Fulton says the impact caused the van to overturn two or three times before running off the interstate into a wooded area. The driver, whose name was not immediately available, complained of a small finger injury but declined hospital treatment.
The crash was reported at 8:49 Wednesday morning.
