Police Beat for Saturday, August 9th, 2025

Two people were returned to the Marion County Jail via prisoner transport from another county on Friday on outstanding warrants.

  • 30-year-old Zachary Higgins of South Cherry in Centralia was arrested on a no-bond felony failure to appear warrant.
  • 20-year-old Anton Berkel of South College in Mt. Vernon was arrested on an outstanding no-bond warrant.
