A 34-year-old Eldorado woman was killed early Monday afternoon in a two car head on crash on the Bluemound Road just north of Coon Creek Road intersection in Clay County.
Clay County Coroner Bryce Henry identifies the person killed in the wreck as Cassidy Robinson.
State Police say preliminary information indicates Robinson was driving a northbound car on Bluemound Road when for unknown reasons, it left the roadway. The car then veered back onto the roadway, where it struck an SUV driven by a 22-year-old Cisne woman head on.
The Cisne woman, and a five-year-old juvenile from Cisne, were both transported to an area hospital with injuries. Robinson was also taken to an area hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The crash occurred at 5:34 Monday afternoon.
