Salem Police are looking for the person responsible for taking a motorcycle
from a home on South College Street sometime before early Monday morning.
A Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy was following the cycle on South College Street and became suspicious when it pulled into the parking lot of the new soccer complex where there was no activity going on. By the time the deputy turned around, the cycle had been left parked with no one around.
When checking with the owner, he reported the motorcycle had apparently been taken from his driveway without permission. He retrieved the cycle.
Salem Police are now trying to determine who stole the cycle.
