The grandstand and pit area bleachers were filled to near capacity as a large crowd turned out Friday night for the Marion County Demolition Derby.

There were four classes of cars.

Drake Guthrie of Carlyle was first in the Bone Stock Class.  Brandyn Easley of Salem was second, Gage Taylor of Carlyle third, and Kyle Adams of Patoka fourth.

In the Limited Weld Class, Devan Vandeveer of Salem took first, Brandon Easley of Salem second, Kyle Simonton of Odin third, and Hoss Atchison of Salem fourth.

In the Modified Compact Class, Jake Cranford of Sandoval took first place, Deric McElroy of Odin second, Thomas Kindhart of Salem third, and Bryson Moore of Odin fourth.

Colton Shoemaker took first in the Gut-N-Go Compact Car Class.  Jimmy Shoemaker of Salem was second, Cody Phillips of Salem third, and Jacob Butts of Odin fourth.

The Marion County Fair wraps up with the ITPA Tractor Pull at 6:30 Saturday night.
