The National Athletic Hall of Fame has announced the 2025 inductees in the Media and Former Student Athlete categories.
Sports Broadcaster Mark Weiler at WSEI in Olney has dedicated over 35 years to covering athletics through southeastern Illinois. He has broadcast countless high school baseball and basketball games and serves as the voice of both men’s and women’s college basketball at Olney Central College.
Olney standout Britany Johnson made history becoming the first player, male or female, in state history to surpass 4,000 career points, finishing with 4031. She is currently the Assistant Coach at Northwestern University.
The 2025 Induction Ceremony will be Friday, November 21st at the TTown Banquet Hall.
