The Marion County Sheriff’s Department says a 19-year-old Walnut Hill man was injured when his pickup truck ran off the Walnut Hill Road and broke apart early Sunday morning.
Deputies say Clayton Bryant was traveling east bound when he veered off the south side of the road, went into a drainage ditch, struck a culvert, and rolled over causing the cab to separate from the frame of the truck. It is believed Bryant was ejected from the vehicle.
Bryant was airlifted to a regional hospital for treatment of injuries.
The Centralia Fire Protection District and Lifestar Ambulance responded to the scene to assist. The crash occurred at 5:37 Sunday morning.
