Salem Police arrested two passengers in an early Monday morning traffic stop on felony drug charges.
29-year-old Dustin Taylor of Hotze Road in Salem and 41-year-old Jared Huggins of Selmaville Road in Salem were both arrested for possession of 15 to 100 grams of a controlled substance and methamphetamine. Both were given notices to appear in court.
Police report the Salem canine alerted on the vehicle after it stopped in the 1000 block of West Main. A search of the vehicle that followed turned up a controlled substance and methamphetamine.
The driver was released without charges. The stop occurred at 1:26 Monday morning.
