The 5th Division Senior Legion Tournament opened last night at Pete Schumacher Field in Trenton. In the opening game, Alton came out swinging and downed Steeleville 9-1. They advance to tonight’s 5pm game against Avisiton.
In the nightcap, Harrisburg walked it off on Trenton 7-6 to advance to Saturday’s semifinals where they will play the winner of Alton and Aviston.
Steeleville and Trenton will play in an elimination game Friday night at 7:30.
