The Qualifying Rounds are done at the Jr Gold Youth Bowling Nationals held in various bowling alleys in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
A pair of Salem graduates and future Missouri Baptist bowlers have advanced. Ryan Detering made a huge jump as he sat outside the 192 cut line heading into the final round, but shot 909 in his final block to finish 92nd and moving on to this morning’s 1st Advancers Round. He averaged 205.6 for the week and was +90. He will be joined by Silas Moats who held on for a 776 final round and finished 169th. He averaged just over 200 so far for the 16 games.
Also moving on, Carterville’s Evan Flath who is 20th after averaging 216.7 for the entire week and a final block of 884. Also in today’s Advancers is O’Fallon’s Connor Lunning who has averaged 211 and is in 48th and Harrisburg’s Caleb Gore who is 66th with a 208.3 average.
Not advancing were Travin Elliott of Mt Vernon who shot 701, Brody Elliott of Mt Vernon 775, Raymond Andrews of Opdyke 730, Jeremiah Barker of Mt Vernon 659, Trace Elliott of Mt Vernon 697, Korbyn Breeze of Bonnie 748, Sam Klimek of Mt Vernon 727, Chasse Wuebbels of Bartelso 612, Jaxon Cushman of Centralia 742.
