The Junior Gold Youth Bowling Championships continued with the 3rd round of qualifying yesterday with the final round to be held today followed by the Advancers round.
In the 18u Boys Division, there are 1341 participants that will be cut down to the best 192 after today. Currently Evan Flath of Carterville is well within the cut line as he is in 28th after shooting an 881 yesterday. He has a 215 average for the week so far. O’Fallon’s Connor Lunning is 34th after his 816 and has a 214 average. Harrisburg’s Caleb Gore is 80th shooting an 833 and Salem’s Silas Moats is within the cut line so far as he is 146th after his 3rd day total of 833 and a 202 average for the week.
Ryan Detering is still in contention with some work to do today he is 204th, so 12 spots away from the cut after a 3rd day total of 844 and a 3 day average of 198.
Also competing in the Division, Travin Elliott of Mt Vernon shot 840 and is 243rd with a shot to advance if he has a big day. Brody Elliott shot 737 and fellow Ram Jeremiah Barker shot 659, Raymond Andrews of Opdyke shot 781, Trace Elliott of Mt Vernon 743, Chasse Wuebbels of Bartelso 590, Bonnie’s Korbyn Breeze shot 655 and Sam Klimek of Mt Vernon 581, Jaxon Cushman of Centralia 607.
