A 28-year-old Colorado woman was airlifted from the scene of a four-wheeler crash in the 7700 block of Baylis Road in rural Alma Tuesday morning.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports a dog ran out in front of the four-wheeler driven by Brittany King, causing the vehicle to roll over and King to be thrown off.
King reportedly was traveling with another four-wheeler who was in front of her and not involved in the crash.
An Air Evac helicopter landed on the nearby Kinoka Road, and King was taken to a St. Louis Hospital. She complained of a back injury.
