Salem Community High School Students can now complete online registration for the coming school year.
It is available at salemhigh.com through the Skyward Family Access. Students have until Monday, August 4th to complete registration.
Students new to the district, excluding pre-registered freshmen, should call the Student Services Office at 548-0727 starting Monday, August 5th , for an appointment. Students who have withdrawn from school and would like to re-enter should have their parents call for an appointment. A meeting will need to be scheduled with the student, parent, counselor, and Principal.
All freshmen and all other students new to our district are required by the Illinois State Board of Education to provide proof of residency. In addition, a school physical, dental examination, and certain immunizations are required by the State of Illinois for high school entry. Please use the State of Illinois Certificate of Child Health Examination form that includes shot records.
Forms are available at www.salemhigh.com or in the main office. Any student entering the twelfth grade must show proof of receiving two doses of meningitis vaccine. The second dose must be administered on or after 16 years of age. If the first dose was administered on or after 16 years of age, then only one dose is required at twelfth grade entry.
