Clay County will celebrate its Bicentennial Celebration on Saturday.
The celebration will be on the Courthouse square in Louisville beginning at four on Saturday afternoon.
Organizers say the square will be surrounded by great food vendors, fun games for kids and families, craft vendors, historic vendors, and memorabilia from Clay County history. There will be a tractor show, a car show, live music all night long, and a formal program at 6:30 Saturday night at the stage. Fireworks will cap the evening around 9:15. Remember to bring a lawn chair.
The majority of the square will be closed off on Saturday to vehicle traffic. The North Clay School District is offering a shuttle bus Saturday evening, every 15 minutes, running from the high school to the corner of Broadway and Church, as downtown parking may be limited.
