The latest recipient of the Keep Salem Beautiful Quarterly Beautiful Business Award is Sterling Avenue in the 300 block of West Main downtown.

The business owned by Paul and Lynn Reim recently moved into the completely renovated building.

Keep Salem Beautiful’s Sharon Blair was one of the KSB members making the presentation.

“I don’t think it can be said enough how stunning this addition is to the downtown Salem area,” Blair said. “We hope that more businesses will take a cue from them and maybe put in a lot more businesses along these lines, so that people will come and enjoy the downtown Salem area.”

Lynn Reim accepted the award.

“We’re pretty happy to be recognized for all of our hard work,” Reim said. “Paul has put a lot of work into the building, remodeling both the inside and the outside. We’re both a bit of perfectionists, so we wanted to look good and we’re very happy that everyone thinks that it does.”

Reim says remodeling of the adjacent building on West Main is underway with no decision made yet on what type of business will be located there.

KSB members were joined by city officials for the presentation.

This is the fourth KSB Quarterly Beautiful Business Award.  Others receiving the award are the ABC Lounge, Midwest Farm and Land, and Blooming Creations.
