A large crowd gathered around the Salem Reservoir in Bryan Memorial Park for the traditional fireworks display over the Salem Reservoir.
There were some changes this year. The afternoon music program at the band stage at the other end of the park ended with a single band being hired to perform in front of the Salem Aquatic Center within view of the fireworks display that followed their appearance. Food trucks were added in the same area this year and were visited by a sizeable number of those coming to the fireworks display.
