A six-year-old girl had to be revived with NARCAN after allegedly coming into contact with a potent form of an illicit drug, believed to be fentenyl, at a Centralia home Friday afternoon.

Centralia City Fire officials say they administered the dose of NARCAN to the girl after they responded to an unresponsive person at a home in the 400 block of Leafland around 12:15 Friday afternoon.

Lifestar Ambulance later transferred the girl to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital before she was airlifted to a regional hospital for treatment.

Centralia Police are also investigating the incident but reports are not yet available.
