All three drivers involved in a chain reaction crash on U.S. 50 just east of the railroad overpass in Odin Friday afternoon declined hospital treatment.
Initial information indicates a van driven by 60-year-old Leonardo Coleman of East McCord in Centralia was eastbound when he was unable to stop for two pickup trucks stopped in traffic waiting for another vehicle to complete a left turn in front of them. The driver of the first pickup he struck is identified as 25-year-old Charles Ingraham of South Walnut in Salem. The impact forced the Ingraham pickup into a picked stopped in front of him driven by 68-year-old Wanda Schawe of Sweetgum Road in rural Xenia.
The drivers were checked on the scene by Odin First Responders and United Medical Response and elected not to go to the hospital.
State Police are handling the crash, but reports are not yet available.
The crash occurred at 2:17 Friday afternoon. Traffic was blocked for over an hour while investigation and cleanup was completed.
