University of Missouri Head Basketball Coach, Dennis Gates, has announced a promotion for Kyle Smithpeters, the former coach at John A Logan. His role at Mizzou has made a significant impact, and Gates has elevated Smithpeters to “Associate Head Coach” after three years of working in the Tigers program. Smithpeters spent ten years at the helm of the John A Logan College basketball program, where he accumulated a record of 241-73, and was named the GRAC Coach of the Year eight different times.
