The Centralia Police Department welcomed new patrolman Joshua Hall as he was sworn in as a patrolman at City Hall on Thursday. Originally from Gardner, Illinois, Hall has over ten years of experience in law enforcement, having previously served as a patrol officer, investigator, and school resource officer at different police departments, including in the cities of Kenai and Seward in Alaska.

Centralia Police Chief Christopher Locke said Centralia PD is lucky to bring Hall on board now that he and his family have returned to Illinois.

Hall thanked those in attendance and said he looks forward to starting in his new role.
