Most federal, state, and local government offices are closed for the 4th of July holiday on Friday.
That includes Centralia and Salem City Halls. However, trash pickup will remain on the regular schedule on Friday in Centralia. Salem has no scheduled trash collection on Fridays.
Area courthouses are also closed. Financial institutions will also not be open and there will be no home mail delivery.
Mail delivery will resume on Saturday. Other government offices will reopen on Monday.
