The City of Centralia has issued $2.5-million in Building Permits in June.

One permit is for more than half the cost. A $1,569,000 permit was issued for installation of a roof top solar array at City Hope Church. Permits were also issued for five residential roof top projects with a total cost of $269,000.

A permit was issued for one new home valued at $225,000 at 3 Eastwood Drive. Permits were issued to locate a mobile home valued at $184,934 at 1032 Cormick Street and a mobile home valued at $191,900 at 901 Gragg Street.

A permit was issued for an EV Charging Station at 216 South Poplar. The facility had an estimated cost of $10,000.

Mission Centralia received permits to construct wheelchair ramps at homes in the 100 block of Randolph and 500 block of Meadowbrook.

There were 13 permits for new or replacement fences, three for sheds or storage buildings, and two for installation of pools.

The city collected $1,846.50 on the building permits.

Four demolition permits were issued during the month. They were for a house at 608 Cormick and for buildings on West Second, 405 and a half Linden and 221 West Broadway.
