Centralia Police had recovered a stolen pickup truck from Salem at about the same time the theft was being reported Monday morning to Salem Police.
Salem Police report the pickup was taken sometime over the weekend from the Salem Tire Warehouse facility on East Main. As the information was being put out to other police agencies, a Centralia Public Works employee found the truck parked in a wooded area near Woods Lane and Patriot Drive at the south end of the Centralia Municipal Airport.
Centralia Police report the truck did not appear to have been damaged.
