Centralia Police arrested a 24-year-old Centralia woman on new drug offenses before taking her to the Clinton County Jail on a warrant for a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Delexia Akes of North Maple Street was allegedly found in possession of controlled substances and methamphetamine after Centralia Police went to a room at the Centralia Motel.
New charges on those offenses are pending in Marion County as Akes was transported to the Clinton County Jail. She was released on pretrial conditions in Clinton County following a Monday court appearance.
Akes is due back in court July 28th for a first appearance with attorney.
