Sandoval Police have taken over the investigation of a car theft and burglary to a home in Sandoval. A resident in the 200 block of South Maple reported the incident to Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on Sunday night. While investigating, the car was found parked in the parking lot of the Sandoval Park.
A 43-year-old Shattuc man was brought to the Marion County Jail on a DUI charge. Billie Yardley of Illinois Street was later released on a notice to appear in court.
