Sandoval Fire Chief Scott Towler says a fire at Foster’s Salvage on Mississippi Street in Sandoval Tuesday night was confined to two vehicles that were being scrapped and some other recycled materials below the vehicle.
The fire apparently started when a torch was being used in a bucket skid steer to scrap the cars. The skid steer escaped any damage. The fire call came in at 5:11 Tuesday night.
