Three people were injured in a one car wreck in the 600 block of North Poplar in Centralia Sunday afternoon.
Centralia Police say 33-year-old Tyler Parrish of Hickory Meadows in Centralia swerved when trying to get the seatbelt back on a five-year-old in the car who had taken the seat belt off. The car first sideswiped a tree and then struck a second tree causing the car to overturn.
Parrish, the five-year-old and a three-year-old in the car, were all transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries. All three were out of the car when police arrived.
The Centralia City Fire Department was called to the scene to assist the victims. Lifestar Ambulance transported the three to the hospital.
The crash occurred at 3:30 Sunday afternoon.
