A 32-year-old rural Odin man has been charged with 19 criminal offenses, including two Class X aggravated criminal sexual assault charges in connection with an incident last September in Wamac involving one female victim.
David Bosler of Norton Road had initially been charged with six misdemeanor domestic battery counts before interviews had been completed with the victim on the sexual assault. Those will be dropped since they are included in ten new domestic battery counts. Other charges included in the 19 are two counts of criminal sexual assault, two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and two counts of criminal sexual abuse.
The charges claim Bosler committed a forceable sex act, struck the alleged victim in the face with his hand, repeatedly kicked her, punched her in the head and burned her with a cigarette lighter.
He has been given a notice to appear on the new charges for June 27th.
