The Salem Wildcats baseball team turned an average season into a success with the school’s back-to-back regional championship, capping off a 4-year run for the senior group of 9 players that included 2 regional titles and 4 regional championship appearances.
Also, 8 of the 9 seniors have signed to continue their athletic careers at the next level. The most recent announcement came from Cody Beard, as the infielder will play for Southeastern Illinois College next season while majoring In Criminal Justice.
