The state 3a/4a softball finals are this weekend at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria. The 3a semifinals start at 10am with the Lady Vikings of Burbank St Laurence at 23-7 taking on 25-11 Providence Catholic Celtics.
The 2nd semifinal is at 12:30 between 25-1 Chatham Glenwood Titans against 28-1-1 Prairie Ridge Wolves.
The 4a semifinals start at 3pm with the 34-3-1 Fillies of Barrington taking on the 31-9 Porters of Lockport. That will be followed at 5:30 by the 39-8 Huskies of Oak Park River Forest taking on the Panthers of Oswego who are 36-2 and won the 3rd place game last year.
